AI Adventures

AI Adventures

When I was playing a Westmarches campaign using dungeons and dragons with my friends, I regularly needed to find some interesting one-shot ideas for our sessions.

ChatGPT was just released and it seemed really appropriate for the task of brainstorming some rough adventure ideas and refining them later. As a not-that creative person, AI is a great help to get around the initial writers block.

After scratching my own itch, I did what any self-respecting indiehacker does and wrote up a thin ChatGPT wrapper to sell. In all honesty, I enjoyed the small scope of the project and the ability to try out some (for me) unusual design with the medieval theme. The result was AI adventures, you can try it here: https://ai-adventures.heltweg.org
