Sharing Quotes

Ever wanted to share a great quote, but were disappointed that your social media posts do not look as cool as people sharing art or screenshots? Me too :(.

Textual content is great but does not look fancy - a real disadvantage in today’s fight for attention. I talk to practitioners from the open data ecosystem for my Meta Data interview series and wanted a nicer way to share the result.

So, over Christmas, I scratched my own itch and developed a small, client-side only app to generate nice-looking images for quotes. As an example, here is an image for a quote by David Gasquez from Meta Data #1.
